The project proposes the construction of a bioclimatic house in Atka, one of the Aleutian islands of Alaska. The remote setting and the extreme climate condition the project and the obtaining of its energy. The proposal establishes a NetZero energy community where each of the houses contributes and receives energy within an energy “ring”. The construction arises from the prefabrication with cross-laminated wood panels with a serial assembly of elements. The design adapts a series of intermediate spaces where the use of energy is maximum and its loss is minimal.
