SOCIAL HOUSING | JIMENA DE LA FRONTERA, CÁDIZ
The prototype is developed taking into account the compactness of the groupings of houses between party walls of Jimena where patios and buildings appear in the urban fabric with similar importance.
This project aims to provide a contemporary response to current housing needs by linking those traditional places of the Andalusian house, harmonizing nature and public spaces with conventional technology within the budgetary limits of social housing. By means of the prefabrication of elements, a construction system widely used in industrial constructions is developed, adapted in this case to a prototype of low-cost social housing.
